Alexandros Alexandropoulos was born (in 1988) and raised in Athens, Greece but has spent half his life in London, United Kingdom. His background is in law, with specialisation in Commercial, Business, Corporate and Maritime Law. Alexandros holds an LLM in International Commercial & Maritime Law from City University, gained experience in a number of law firms (Clyde & Co, Hill Dickinson, Holman Fenwick Willan) and considers law to be his "first love". After his studies, together with a group of innovative entrepreneurs, he founded DV Closet. DV Closet is a 'Fashiontech' Startup. Through his role, he helped to make an original innovative idea a reality, prepared business plans and general strategy, organized a successful rewards crowd funding campaign (“Kickstarter”), and he still manages all legal, financial and business aspects of DV Closet. In 2017, was welcomed by the Chartered Management Institute as an Associate member. Moreover, the same year, he qualified as a member of the Institute of Directors. Alexandros has a keen interest in innovation and poverty alleviation. To this end, in 2015, he was awarded a fellowship by the Royal Society of Arts. In addition he volunteers and helps the "Hospitaller Charity" of the Catholic Church (SMOM) as a member (OMV and Companion). It is his belief that everyone becomes more useful for his society by having an interest in politics; hence his past involvement with youth politics through multiple positions. In his free time, Alexandros takes a keen interest in sports. This led him to volunteer as an assistant to the International Olympic Committee (assigned to Greece) at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
